In addition to intuitive in-room ROUTING, SMART OR provides the right solution for any application, with network-wide distribution of video, audio, metadata and control data. Complex and extensive routing operations can be easily implemented by predefined scenarios at the push of a button.
Encoding
Our hardware encoding frees up your archive and network by automatically compressing incoming image and audio data from connected signal sources.
Streaming
Fast and bandwidth-efficient network streaming allows a direct preview of connected sources and their live transmission. The compressed video streams are available in just a few milliseconds and can be retrieved in real time. Even bidirectional lecture hall broadcasts are possible without any problems.
Documentation
SMART OR allows the comfortable patient and procedure-related documentation of single images as well as video and audio sequences in the connected media archives. For long-term archiving and the exchange of information, a connection to KIS, RIS and PACS is possible.
Archive
Documentation material from spatially independent networked workstations can be stored directly centrally within the media archive and is immediately available to all authorised users throughout the network. In addition to extensive research options, the range of functions includes media playback, download, data export, individual report generation, print options as well as server-based video editing and automatic transfer to long-term archives.
Control
Control SMART OR provides extensive signal management and network-wide distribution of live material. In addition, our integration solution allows even more control and monitoring functions:
Control of access to content and modalities
Control of various environmental components (e.g. PTZ camera)
Control of advanced display functions (e.g. PIP, POP)
Export
The data can be retrieved at any time for patient interviews, integrated into reports and findings, and exported to storage media (USB or CD/DVD). Archiving can be automated on request
HL7 / DICOM
With HL7 CONNECT, SMART OR establishes a connection to the hospital information system (HIS). The DICOM CONNECT option integrates patient and procedure data and allows video and image content to be stored in the PACS. The intuitive operation of SMART OR ensures that your data is always linked correctly.

The SMART OR LOCAL SUITE provides an introduction to professional video management. Up to four users (SMART OR CLIENTS) have access to media streams from the OR over the network.

The SMART OR NETWORK SUITE allows complex integration scenarios with many operating rooms. Any number of SMART OR CLIENTS can access currently provided OR streams and disseminate them.
